 John has always enjoyed his golf trips to the desert southwest.... we also had a fabulous trip to the Utah  parks a few years ago..... so when it came time to finally plan a trip SOMEWHERE over this winter/spring.... we ended up with a plan to visit Tucson.... we'd each only been there for 1 day.... many years ago while we visited Phoenix and the Grand Canyon......We selected a hotel near the foothills of the nearby mountains and began reading Trip Advisor for tips..... Hoping the photos still capture the place.....

 After reading suggestions on what to see in Tucson, other than the National Parks.... this was mentioned by many travelers.... we agree.... there's a tram that you can take to the top and then choose how far you'd like to hike by which stop you get off on the way down.   The day we visited the tram had to drive through several areas where the water crossed the pathway.....  The view from the tram as we cross the stream.....
